Hooray - back to class!

So it's official.. the boardroom has been transformed and it's pretty amazing!  We have an absolutely huge space and the room looks fantastic.  It's big enough for a "loud" station area and quiet area.. with a more traditional classroom in between.

Madame Lucy and I are very excited to have our kids back in the classroom on Monday.  It's been a long two weeks and we've been working very hard to make our room feel like our home away from home.  It will just be so great to share my day with the students again.. they really do make my day.

Truth be told,  I really think the kids will love the new classroom.  They'll have a great time getting to know the other students and their new teacher, Madame Lucy.  It's great that they have this opportunity to really get to know the other students since they will be with some of these students in grade one.

Just a reminder that all students are to go to Elm Street as they normally would.   As stated on Elm Street website:

For parents who  normally drive their children  to school, please note that you must take your children to Elm Street and arrive by 8:30 a.m.  We will be departing as a student body  from  Elm Street daily.
PARENTS PLEASE NOTE
Do not drop off your children to their new school locations. Please take them to Elm Street  as there will be no one at their new school location to meet them from our staff. Your cooperation on this matter is much appreciated.
If your child is going to be late due to an appointment, and will not arrive until after 9:15 a.m.  please take your child to their new location's  main office, and an Elm Street Staff will escort them to their classroom.

Happy Monday EVERYONE!!  Hooray!
